THE PROBLEM
You’ve Probably Tried One of These Already.
Most contractors who come to us have already lost money on lead generation — just not always the same way. Some ran Meta ads themselves, spent a few hundred dollars, got nothing usable, and decided ‘Facebook doesn’t work for my business.’ Some hired a generalist agency and got a nice report with no phone calls. Some got leads, but the wrong ones — out of area, unqualified, gone after one text. The common thread: ad spend without a system built for how trades businesses actually get hired.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
What You’re Actually Paying For.
No bundled extras you don’t need. No vague ‘full-service’ language. Here’s exactly what’s in scope.
01
Account & Funnel Audit
Before we spend a dollar, we look at your current setup — past ad accounts, website or landing page, lead intake process, and how fast (or slow) you currently respond to inquiries. If lead flow is going to break somewhere after the ad, we flag it before launch, not after.
02
Audience Targeting
We build targeting around how people actually search for your service: geography, intent signals, seasonality (e.g., HVAC in July vs. January), and service-radius logic. Trades businesses don't convert like e-commerce, and we don't target them like e-commerce.
03
Ad Creative
We write and design the ad creative — copy, static images, and video where it makes sense. Built around your actual jobs and service area, not templated "before/after" stock formats. If you have project photos, we use them. If you don't, we'll tell you what to shoot.
04
Tracking & Reporting
Every lead is tracked back to the ad, ad set, and campaign that produced it — not just "Meta says we got X clicks." You get a straightforward monthly report: leads generated, cost per lead, and what we changed because of it.
05
Ongoing Optimization
Campaigns get reviewed and adjusted on an ongoing basis — creative refreshes, audience tightening, budget shifts toward what's converting. This isn't "set it and check back in a month." It's active management for as long as you're a client.
We don’t build websites or landing pages, run Google Ads, or set up CRM/automation. We do one thing — Meta lead generation for trades.
WHO THIS IS FOR / NOT FOR
Who We Work With.
We’d rather tell you now than waste your time later.
This is a good fit if:
You're a contractor or home service business (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, renovation, or similar trade)
You can handle more incoming leads — meaning your crew capacity isn't already maxed out
You're comfortable with a retainer + performance-based pricing model and want month-to-month flexibility, not a long-term contract
Probably not a fit if:
You're not in the trades/home services space — we don't run campaigns outside this niche, even if we could
You need a brand-new website or landing page before ads can even run, and don't have budget for that separately
You're not able to respond to leads quickly — fast follow-up matters more to your close rate than almost anything we do on the ad side
RESULTS / CASE STUDIES
Real Campaigns. Real Numbers.
We’re not going to pad this section with invented case studies or stock dashboard screenshots. Here’s what we can show you right now.

WHO'S BEHIND THIS
Every Account. Managed Personally.
By Gagnon is Henrik Gagnon. Not a team of account managers you’ve never spoken to. Not outsourced to a white-label shop. When you work with By Gagnon, you’re working directly with the person who builds, runs, and optimizes your campaigns — start to finish.
We work with a small number of clients at a time on purpose. More clients means less attention per account. That’s not a trade-off we’re willing to make.
“One agency. One channel. Your account, not a case number.”
HOW IT WORKS
From Call to Live Campaign
Three steps. No agency theater.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY
Booked Jobs, Not Just Clicks.
Owners across the trades who stopped wasting spend and started filling their calendars.
“Henrik was a great pleasure to deal with. Very dependable and dedicated in getting the project completed in a timely matter.”
